Sculpting Water & Light consists of 3 video teaching modules and a 4th bonus module as my gift to you!
1) Sculpting- I will take you from start to finish in my process of sculpting water. Even if you’ve never worked with the materials I use, you will find my process both simple and profound.
The sculpting module will give you the confidence you need get started immediately! As least, that’s what my students have said! They were excited to try, and had no fear of messing it up.
2) Molding- One of the things that sets my work apart is the fact that I build my own molds using methods I developed when typical methods failed me.
Molds can be bought, and many artists use them, but it never worked for me. And the common methods for creating molds led to so much waste that it simply wasn’t sustainable for an artist with a young family and not a million dollars. Ha!
So, I did what I always do: I figured out another way. And my way not only works, but it saves a lot of money and time. And frustration.
3) Casting- This is where the fun really starts; it’s time to pour the resin. If you’ve never worked with resin, don’t worry, most of my students never have!
As in everything else, I have developed specific methods for casting that are unique to my process, yet so simple that anyone can do them.
I will share all my tips, tricks, and secrets to getting the perfect pour, the exact finish you want. I will also teach you how to deal with things like air bubbles, resin drips, and how to protect your art for years to come.
4) Finishing & Framing- This is my gift to you, the students of this course.
I decided to include this Bonus Module so that when you have created your beautiful art, you can achieve the look you’ve come to love about my water sculptures.
I don’t simply cast my sculptures in resin and slap them in a frame. Not by a long shot; There are still several finishing steps in my process before framing, and I will show you exactly how I achieve “the look” I’m known for.

Let’s talk about the costs of purchasing this course. I’ve gotten a lot of emails about this, so let me get this answered thoroughly.
The course itself will cost $1,497. My payment processor can take major credit cards or PayPal. The cost is in US dollars.
The cost of the course includes:
Four video modules of me teaching you every single step to create your own resin water sculptures, including finishing and framing.
Email Support that runs from September 1-October 23. This is where you can email me directly and ask any questions pertaining to the online course and I will provide a tailored response.
Four weeks of emails that do a wrap-up on a module per week. These emails will include FAQs for the module of the week, tips for completing that module, and all sorts of other stuff we throw in to help you!
A list of every single item you will need to complete this course, with links to purchase. You will receive your materials list upon payment in full for the course. For a couple of these items I will have discount codes for you, since my providers are so thankful for this course and my students! The materials needed for the course are a separate purchase and not included in your course cost. As with any course you purchase, you are responsible for purchasing your own materials.
I have priced out every item necessary for the course, and if all purchased individually, the total comes to approximately $1,100.
Now, the materials for this course vary in scope. Some things are as simple as a paintbrush or small paint bucket. And others, well, others are more complicated and stuff you probably won’t have lying around in the garage.
The majority of the items can be ordered from Amazon, and I have created an Amazon storefront so that you can simply click in and not have to search for what you need. I have done everything in my power to make getting your materials as easy as possible. I do make commissions from these purchases, but it’s honestly pennies on the dollar and although I would love to make more, it’s more for your and my own convenience and sanity.
PLEASE NOTE: if you live outside the contiguous 48 states, you may encounter a challenge getting a couple of your supplies delivered, but I will do whatever I can to help you find what you need in a timely manner, however I don’t know exactly what is offered in each country so you will need to be resourceful on your end. To date, we’ve have several international students and have been able to find a suitable replacement.

No, I don’t currently offer this. I do accept PayPal and all major credit cards directly through my website.

The course is a blend of prerecorded video teaching modules and limited email support for the first 6 weeks after launch. This will provide ample time to get any questions answered, should any arise.
The prerecorded videos offer you the leisure of moving at your own pace and lifetime access insures you won’t run out of time!

This is my THIRD launch of this course and at this point all the kinks have been well ironed out. Six weeks of email support will be available to you. You can ask anything you need and also troubleshoot with me. I will be available to help in any way possible to help you be successful. I still have students reach out from time to time :) I genuinely look forward to the friendships we create along the way!

Yes! You will receive a private link and password upon purchase!

The materials lists will be sent out via a private link and password upon purchase. Every item is linked, so you won’t have to work to find them; simply click through.

My specific, curated, materials list and all video content of the course belong to me and is my intellectual property. Should you go on to start a business using my techniques you are absolutely not allowed to teach any of the techniques or share the process online. That is only the right of the original creator.
-
You absolutely can! With some caveats. Let’s touch on the areas that may be more of a challenge, but not an insurmountable one.
Payment - The course can be paid for using any major credit card or through PayPal. The course must be paid in full, as our payment processor does not allow for partial payments.
Discounts - We are unable to offer discounts. We do understand that the foreign exchange rate can be a burden; however, we are not able to offset that on our end.
Time differences - All of the content is prerecorded, and the course is ultimately self-paced. You can watch the videos at any time, no matter where you are. And you are purchasing lifetime access, so they won’t go away.
Now, here is where it gets tricky. About 99% of the materials for the course come from Amazon. I have created an extensive storefront with almost every product you need.
However, there are 2 products you cannot get from Amazon, and the companies that supply these may not be able to supply you if you do not live in the US. (This applies to Hawaii, Canada, Alaska, as well.) In the past I have helped artists find suitable substitutes but cannot guarantee it if it is a country I haven’t researched yet. This will definitely require help on your end, as I cannot read all languages, lol.
There is a third product that cannot be purchased through Amazon, although, they ship internationally AND have a discount for my students this time around! Wahoo!!
Here’s what you need to do. EMAIL ME.
If you live outside the US 48, just email me and I will do what I can to find you a supplier, or give you tips as to alternative products you can use.
This course is definitely doable no matter where you are, within reason, but some of you will need to be a little extra resourceful but you can always run it by me!!

We get a lot of questions on what kind of space you need to complete this course. Amy worked in her small attic space for the first several years. So, it’s not the square footage that’s the issue.
What you need is one indoor space and one outdoor space.
The sculpting module requires an outdoor space for safety. The molding and casting modules require an indoor space for temperature control. If you have a porch, a garage, a patio, a driveway, or even a patch of grass, you can do this.
The casting portion needs to be ventilated, so don’t do it in a room where your kids are playing.

Our Beta students had to agree to fly through the course in four short weeks in order to be considered for the Beta group. And guess what? They not only accomplished that, but they also created some amazing resin water sculptures of their own.
Technically, you could complete module one, sculpting, and then let your sculpture stand by for a week, two weeks, or two months, while you do other things.
However, when you begin modules two and three, you will need to stay on top of the process. Time will matter here. You won’t be able to set either aside for days at a time.
So, just know and plan ahead. You can’t start the molding and then leave for vacation. You can, however, complete the molding module and then set your mold aside for weeks before starting module 3.
The other issue is support. The email support will run for 6 weeks, so you need to be working through the modules to get any questions answered that you will have!

You can, but with caveats. Since this is my intellectual property, you cannot teach lessons, share material details or show the process of making this art. This is why an NDA is required before purchase of my course. It hasn’t slowed down any of my former students who have gone on to make rather successful business from this style of art.
