Course Details:
Join us for the first-ever online course for sculpting, molding and casting resin water sculptures. These online courses will be available for domestic and international purchase. Materials that can’t be purchased in your specific area may have a similiar substitute and we can help you locate those. You will have full access to pre-recorded modules which will allow you to view at your leisure and work at your own pace.
The course will contain:
Module 1: Sculpting
We will sculpt a 12”x12” water sculpture from scratch (creating our master, or “positive first”). Then we will prep it correctly for module 2.
Module 2: Molding
I will teach you how I go about the molding process. It’s a unique process that I’ve discovered is more efficient than standard molding. It’s more affordable and less complicated, creating more space for fewer errors.
Module 3: Casting
Follow me on the multi-day journey of casting using resin, or epoxy as some call it. This process will include proper resin techniques and safety. The aim is a “positive final” sculpture that is clear from bubbles, debris, fog and flaws.
Bonus Module: Mounting & Framing
